Thoughts waiting for lunch

Interaction
solely through screens kills semblance
of connection

Poetry
written in boredom stagnates
silently

The monotony
of classroom settings floods back
as recollection

The vagrant avoids
the prolonged eye contact of
spellbound local girls

About andrewwhiting

A sentimental and sarcastic poet, lover of language, traveling and nature (not a fan of the Oxford comma).
