1440

Minutes last longest
Moments crash down
Seconds simply drip
Days disappear
Weeks evaporate
Months blow away
Years build up
Quietly overhead

But the minutes
Decades of cumulus and nimbus
Rain down without rest
Without respite
Unceasing, uncaring
Unending
Fill gauges, give way to days
Lost in almanacs
